Monitoring Data Collection Results, South Lampung BPS Holds Price Statistics Evaluation

BPS South Lampung Regency carried out the 2023 Price Statistics Evaluation on December 11 2023. Located at the Grand S'Kuntum Hotel, Bandar Lampung City, partners and employees of BPS South Lampung Regency started the day with a general explanation of the results of the Price Statistics Survey data for 2023. This activity opened directly by the Head of BPS South Lampung Regency, Mr. Arif Rahman Maulana.

Prices are a very important and strategic component in an economic system. Routinely and periodically, BPS carries out price statistical survey activities. Price statistical surveys aim to determine price developments over time. Several price statistical surveys conducted by BPS include the Price Survey at the Producer level, the Price Survey at the Consumer level and the Wholesale Trade Price Survey.

One use of price statistical output is inflation, farmer exchange rates, and the consumer price index. Price statistics are very important as an early warning system for determining government plans and actions that must be taken quickly to overcome price fluctuations that occur.
