The South Lampung Regency Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Food Crop Statistics Evaluation Event which took place at the Grand Elty Hotel on December 1 2023. This event was attended by 62 participants consisting of the Head of BPS South Lampung Regency, the Rice Area Sample Frame Survey (KSA) Instructor. and Corn, Field Inspection Officers (PML) and Field Enumerator Officers (PCL) KSA Rice and Corn, as well as other organic employee participants. Mr. Arif Rahman Maulana, S.Si, M.M. as Head of BPS said that this event was held with the aim of evaluating the performance of all KSA Rice and Corn officers with the hope that future performance can be even better, namely timely completion of KSA tapping for both rice and corn every month. Officers who can commit to completing KSA tasks on time are indirectly participating in carrying out BPS's vision, namely providing quality data for Advanced Indonesia. If the officer feels unable to complete the work on time in the future, the officer should report this so that it is not impossible for BPS to replace the officer next year. The KSA completion target for field officers is the first two days of the last week of each month and 100 percent for tiles.
Data on rice and corn harvested areas were obtained from the KSA Survey, while productivity data was obtained through Ubinan activities. This data is needed for local policy program makers. BPS itself is trusted as a provider of data on harvest area and food crop productivity with integrity because BPS does not have any tendencies and is independent from any party so that BPS records data according to existing field facts. For information, BPS only works with partners registered in the partner database in 2024, so make sure all officers who intend to partner with BPS have registered with Mitra 2024. There are requirements that must be met, such as prioritizing partners who are no more than 50 years old. so that if there are officers who do not fulfill these requirements, they will not be able to enter the 2024 Partner database. It is different if partners aged 50 years and over are indeed relied on, as long as there is a reasonable and strong reason, this will be an exception for BPS to be able to accept relevant partners into the Mitra 2024 database. Mitra 2024 registration is only limited to recording names in a database, this means that officers who have registered with Mitra 2024 will not immediately get a job. This will be adjusted later, what activities will be involved and which partners will be selected. Finally, the Head of BPS Kabupaten Lampung Selatan convey that we apologize for the delay in honorarium payments because this is beyond the control of BPS, especially since there is a budget worth billions being managed. After the Head of BPS South Lampung Regency delivered his speech, the event continued with giving awards to qualified officers. This assessment is based on the timeliness of completing the task and the suitability of the observation phase with the photograph taken. Following are the selection of the best officers in each category: 1. PADI KSA officer, namely Yakono 2. The KSA CORN officer is Robiyansyah 3. The most observed food plants are Purwanto. The event closed with prayer reading and a group photo session. Next, KSA rice and corn officers had separate rooms to continue discussing their respective evaluations.
