MIXED METHOD: New Method of Rice Calculation at BPS Lampung Selatan Regency

There is an activity to utilize Big Data with Earth Observation (EO) technology for rice data calculation, in order to modernize the statistical business process. The opportunity to use EO technology and KSA data to help calculate rice data gave rise to the Mixed Method Development Activity.

 

Lampung Selatan is one of 26 regencies/cities selected as the Mixed Method development work area. The location of the Mixed Method ground truth sample is spread across four districts, namely Tanjung Bintang, Way Sulan, Way Panji, and Palas Districts. The implementation of this activity starts from the first to the third week of September.
