The Enthusiasm of Youth Pledge at BPS South Lampung Regency

Monday, October 30 2023, BPS South Lampung Regency held a Ceremony to Commemorate the 95th Youth Pledge Day. This ceremony was carried out wearing Korpri Batik clothing which is the official ASN clothing and equipped with supporting attributes. The Youth Pledge Ceremony was held in the parking lot of the South Lampung Regency BPS office from 08.00 to 08.30.

 

The Youth Pledge Ceremony took place led by the Head of BPS South Lampung Regency, Mr. Arif Rahman Maulana, S.Si., M.M as Ceremony Supervisor. The ceremony supervisor conveyed the message given by the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora), Ario Bimo Nantdito Ariotedjo. In his message, he said that all Indonesian young people must be enthusiastic in building the nation, both across generations and across sectors, and together contribute to national development in accordance with what is mandated in the 1945 Constitution. At the end of his sentence, the Minister of Youth and Sports also said that to make the momentum of the 95th Youth Pledge Day commemoration a momentum to raise the spirit of collaboration in advancing the country. The next Youth Pledge Ceremony did not forget to recite the Youth Pledge to raise the spirit of nationalism in the form of,

 

“We are sons and daughters of Indonesia, claimed to share one blood, the Indonesian homeland”

“We are sons and daughters of Indonesia, a nation that claims to be one, the people of Indonesia”

“We are sons and daughters of Indonesia, respect the language of unity, the Indonesian Language”

 

The Youth Pledge Ceremony activity then closed with the singing of the obligatory songs Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa and Bangun Pemudi Pemuda by all ceremony participants. The Youth Pledge is a sacred pledge which is the result of an agreement between Indonesian young people in 1928. Therefore, as stated in the contents of the mandate from the Minister of Youth and Sports, it would be best for us as young Indonesians who have youth blood to be able to fight and have a high fighting spirit in the context of national development.
