Lampung Selatan — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Selatan Regency conducted a coordination and outreach visit regarding the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) to the Bakauheni Branch of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. This activity aims to strengthen inter-agency synergy while supporting the smooth implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
During the meeting, the Lampung Selatan BPS provided information regarding the objectives, benefits, and implementation stages of the 2026 Economic Census. This outreach is expected to enhance various stakeholders’ understanding of the importance of accurate economic data as the foundation for development planning and evaluation.
In addition to discussing the 2026 Economic Census, this meeting also served as a means to strengthen coordination regarding routine activities that have been established between BPS and ASDP. It is hoped that this good cooperative relationship will continue to support the provision of data and information needed for the implementation of various statistical activities.
On this occasion, ASDP expressed its support for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census. One form of support to be provided is assisting in facilitating coordination with business operators active in the port area through local merchant associations. It is hoped that these associations can support the data collection process and communication with the business operators to be surveyed in the 2026 Economic Census.
In addition, the Lampung Selatan BPS also requested email addresses and phone numbers to be used for the online data collection process, known as Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI). In response, ASDP will coordinate with relevant divisions to ensure the necessary information is provided.
Through coordination and synergy that continues to be strengthened with various stakeholders, the Lampung Selatan BPS hopes that the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census will run smoothly and produce quality data to support Indonesia’s future development.
