BPS Lampung Selatan is promoting the 2026 Economic Census in 17 districts

In preparation for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Selatan Regency conducted outreach activities for district heads and district government officials in the 17 districts of Lampung Selatan Regency. The activities were held in person at the district offices as a means of coordinating and strengthening local government support for the implementation of the SE2026. BPS staff provided information regarding the objectives, benefits, and implementation stages of the Economic Census to enhance the understanding and readiness of all relevant parties.

In addition to the outreach sessions, this initiative also included the presentation of letters of support for the 2026 Economic Census from the Regent of Lampung Selatan to each district government. It is hoped that these letters of support will strengthen the synergy between the BPS and the sub-district governments in supporting the smooth conduct of data collection activities in the field. As a form of publicizing and disseminating information to the public, SE2026 banners were also installed at the sub-district offices in each visited sub-district.

Through this outreach campaign, it is hoped that sub-district governments will play an active role in helping to convey information to the public and business owners regarding the importance of the Economic Census. With support from local governments down to the sub-district level, the implementation of the Economic Census in Lampung Selatan Regency is expected to proceed smoothly, achieve optimal public participation, and produce accurate, high-quality economic data.
