BPS Lampung Selatan Identifies Needs in Bumi Daya Village for Desa Cantik Program

Palas, 23 May 2025 - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Lampung Selatan District through the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Team visited Bumi Daya Village, Palas District, in order to identify the needs of village data and statistics as part of the initial stages of the Desa Cantik development program in 2025.

The activity which took place on Thursday, May 23, 2025 was led directly by the Head of BPS of South Lampung Regency accompanied by the Desa Cantik Technical Team and attended by the Head of Bumi Daya Village and Bumi Daya Statistical Agent.

The Desa Cantik BPS South Lampung team conducted a series of discussions and mapping of data needs with village officials such as sectoral data availability, recording systems, technical challenges and potential data utilization in village development planning.

Bumi Daya Village itself was selected as a Beautiful Village 2025 in South Lampung because it was considered to have a commitment to strengthening village data governance and statistical information disclosure.

This activity is the first step before the implementation of technical training and intensive assistance that will be carried out by BPS throughout 2025 in the selected village.
