South Lampung BPS Invites Officers to Study Area Sample Framework (KSA)

BPS South Lampung Regency held training for Area Sample Frame (KSA) officers on Monday and Tuesday, 22-23 January 2024. The rice KSA officer training was held on Monday (22/1) and was attended by 28 participants. Meanwhile, training for corn KSA officers was held on Tuesday (23/1) attended by 16 participants. The Ubinan Regional Instructor (Inda) at BPS South Lampung Regency is Pudjiono, SST., MM. and A. Yoga Gumbira, SST.

Area Sampling Framework (KSA) is a data collection method using technology to produce more accurate, objective and real time estimated data on the area of ​​rice and secondary crops harvested. Later, the results of the KSA Rice data collection will be used as a basis for selecting samples for the tile survey from which food crop productivity data needed to calculate food crop production figures will be obtained.

The training began with a presentation of material by Inda to increase officers' knowledge regarding the importance of KSA data and the importance of increasing the response rate of the tile survey which is closely related to the KSA results. Apart from delivering the material, participants were also invited to carry out direct trials on the BPS page of South Lampung Regency.
