Meanwhile, Assistant for General Administration Badruzzaman said that the Regsosek data collection was a system and database of the entire population consisting of profiles, social conditions, economy, and welfare levels. Which, later on, will be needed in government policy making to be more focused.
“Regsosek is also used for development planning and evaluation purposes. With Regsosek data, it will bridge coordination and various data across institutions and across regions to ensure consistent use of data," said Badruzzaman.
On that occasion, Badruzzaman also explained, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic since 2 years ago has caused the South Lampung economy to contract, coupled with open unemployment and increasing poverty rates.
Based on data, said Badruzzaman, in March 2020 the poverty rate in South Lampung Regency reached 14.08 percent and in March 2021 it increased to 14.19 percent.
Therefore, through the synergy of all stakeholders from the Central, Provincial and District Government levels, the poverty rate in South Lampung Regency in 2022 is expected to slowly decline.
"The results achieved by South Lampung Regency in efforts to reduce poverty as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic are slowly starting to show improvement. Through the implementation of this poverty reduction program intervention, it is hoped that the poverty rate of South Lampung in 2022 will decrease," he said. (ptm/Nsy).
