Abstract

In August 2021, the total workforce in Lampung was 4.49 million people, an increase of 5.3 thousand people from August 2020. The open unemployment rate (TPT) in August 2021 was 4.69 percent, up 0.02 percentage point compared to August. 2020.

The working population is 4.28 million people, an increase of 4.2 thousand people from August 2020. The employment field that experienced the largest percentage decline was agriculture (1.73 percentage point). Meanwhile, the business field that experienced an increase in the percentage of the working population was the largest
namely in the business field of providing accommodation and food and drink, which increased by 0.6 percentage points.
