Lampung Economic Growth in Quarter III-2020

Abstract

The economy of Lampung Province in the third quarter of 2020 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price reached IDR 94.10 trillion and the GRDP at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 62.55 trillion.

The economy of Lampung Province in the third quarter of 2020 experienced a growth contraction of 2.41 percent compared to the quarter
III-2019 (y-on-y). From the production side, the deepest growth contraction occurred in the Manufacturing Industry Business Field by 10.08 percent. From the expenditure side, the components of goods and services exports and imports of goods and services experienced growth contraction by 6.78 percent and 7.45 percent, respectively.

The economy of Lampung Province in the third quarter of 2020 grew by 4.15 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved in the Health Service Business Field and Social Activities of 18.78 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) by 14.51 percent and the Goods and Services Export Component by 7.08 percent.
