Average Grain Prices (GKP) for farmers rose 19.14 percent

Abstract

During July 2020, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 45 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality of unhusked paddy grain (GKP).

The highest grain price at the farm level reaches Rp. 5,300.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang and IR64 varieties found in Gading Rejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The lowest grain prices reach Rp. 4,200.00 per kg in GKP quality grains with Inpari Varieties42 found in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is the same as the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 4,200.00 per kg.

At the mill level, the highest grain price is Rp. 5,350.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang and IR64 varieties found in Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu District, while the lowest grain price for the GKP quality group is Rp. 4,280.00 per kg with Inpari42 variety found in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP of Rp. 4,250.00 per kg.

Grain prices at the farm level rose in July 2020. The average increase in the price of the GKP quality group at the farm level was 19.14 percent from Rp. 3,896.51 per kg to Rp. 4,642.31 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of grain at the grinding level rose by 17.81 percent from Rp. 4,022.09 per kg to Rp. 4,738.27 per kg.
