Abstract

In March 2020, the number of poor people (population with per capita expenditure per month under the Poverty Line) in Lampung reached 1.05 million people (12.34 percent), an increase of 7.84 thousand people compared to the conditions in September 2019 which amounted to 1.04 million people (12.30 percent).

The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2020 was 9.02 percent, up 0.42 points compared to September 2019 which was 8.60 percent. While the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2020 was 13.83 percent or decreased by 0.13 points compared to September 2019 which was 13.96 percent.
