Development of Exports and Imports of Lampung Province, January 2020

Abstract

Lampung Province's export value in January 2020 reached US $ 206.31
million, decreased by US $ 76.43 million or decreased
27.03 percent compared to December 2019 exports recorded
US $ 282.74 million. The value of this January 2020 export when compared
with January 2019 export value recorded at US $ 265.42 million
also decreased by US $ 59.11 million or down
22.27 percent.
Ten main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in
January 2020 is animal / vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea,
and spices; wood pulp / pulp; coal; rubber and
rubber goods; preparations of fruits / vegetables; waste / residue
food industry; fish and shrimp; processed meat and fish; and
sugar and confectionery.
The decline in exports from January 2020 to December 2019 occurred
in the seven main categories of goods namely the waste / remaining industry
food fell 44.97 percent; coal fell 44.62 percent;
processed meat and fish fell 41.50 percent; sugar and confectionery
down 40.46 percent; animal / vegetable fats and oils fell by 40.41
percent; preparations from fruits / vegetables decreased 23.59 percent;
and coffee, tea and spices fell 15.22 percent. As for
the main categories of goods experiencing an increase were
wood pulp / pulp up 142.08 percent; rubber and rubber goods
up 80.86 percent; and fish and shrimp rose 3.66 percent.
