Training for Updating Enumeration Area (EA) Officers at BPS Lampung Selatan Regency

On Friday, June 28 2024, the Lampung Selatan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held training for officers updating Enumeration Area (EA) 2024 PODES results. This training was held in the Lampung Selatan Regency BPS office hall and was opened by the Head of the General Subdivision who also doubles as as Daily Executive (PLH) Head of BPS Lampung Selatan Regency, Mr. Rosadi Zein.

The training instructor, Mr. Supardi, explained that updating data is very necessary at the village level down to the smallest level, namely hamlets, RWs and RTs, based on the latest field data from PODES 2024. This is important to ensure that the data held by BPS is always accurate and in accordance with current conditions in the field.

This training was attended by four officers who will update areas in four sub-districts in Lampung Selatan Regency which are experiencing expansion or changes in regional nomenclature. This activity aims to increase the capacity and skills of officers in updating data, so that the data updating process can run smoothly and produce valid data.

In his speech, Mr. Rosadi Zein emphasized the importance of this training to ensure that any regional changes that occur can be accommodated properly in the BPS database. He also appreciated the dedication and hard work of the officers who will go directly to the field to carry out this task.
